FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Are you curious if we can accept credit card? (We can!) Can you walk in without an appointment? What sort of tables do we use?

Our FAQ attempts to answer any and all of our most frequently asked questions. Please take your time to find out all you need to know about us.

Q. Do I need to make an appointment?

A. No. We usually have enough therapists and rooms available. However, we would advise it during the high season (Nov-Feb). You can book online here or make an appointment at our spa.

Q. Can I walk-in without an appointment?

A. Yes, you can. There may be a small wait, but usually not.

Q. How far in advance should I book?

A. 1 or 2 days before your visit is enough, but also not necessary as you can also walk-in or call.

Q. What is the biggest group you can accept?

A. Around 8 people, if we know in advance.

Q. How many beds are in your rooms?

A. We currently have only 2 types of rooms.

– Private rooms, which vary between 2 and 3 higher massage tables, and are used for body massage, body scrubs and waxing.

– The foot massage area is on the ground floor with 5 chairs. We do foot massage, nail services and foot scrubs here.

Q. Do you have lockers?

Currently not, as we work on upgrading our existing facilities.

Q. Do you have professional massage tables?

A. Yes. All of our tables are fitted with a hole to allow you to lay face down. We do not agree with massage on a floor or mat as they may be bad for your back and neck.

Q. Do you have organic products?

A. Yes, we have many. We offer organic and 100% natural oil for a little extra. Our moisturizers and creams in our Facials are organic. These are made locally by eco-friendly French family company ‘Kambio’. Our Body Scrubs are also made with plenty of organic ingredients where possible, but all are natural and made by us in-house.

Q. Do you sell any of these products?

A. Yes. You can find essential oils, creams, moisturizers, deodorants and other organic and natural products for sale at the front of our shop.

Q. Can I take a shower at Lemongrass Garden?

A. Yes, if you can arrive 10 minutes earlier for your appointment.

Q. Do I need to shower after an oil massage?

A. No. In fact, we recommend that you don’t. Our oils are beneficial when left on, as they moisturize and contain properties that do wonders for your skin, body and mentality. We advise you to not shower for at least 2 hours after your massage, to ensure the oils give the maximum amount of benefit.

Q. Do you have en-suite bathrooms?

A. Siem Reap: we have 2 rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The other rooms used a shared bathroom in the hallway. Battambang uses only 2 shared bathrooms in the hallway.

Q. Do you have air-conditioning?

A. Yes, in every room.

Q. Where are you?

A. Google Maps: Siem Reap  |  Battambang

Q. Why are your prices higher than other places?

A. There really are so many different reasons for this, but we’ll list the most important;

– our team are highly trained, and much time, effort, and money is spent to ensure the quality is at it’s best

– our team receive a living wage, commission and bonuses because their profession is incredibly skilled, and they deserve it

– being located in the center of town is expensive. Unlike most spas, we rent our properties as we cannot afford to buy land and build

– we use better quality products. We don’t cheap out with inexpensive palm oil or cheap branded products. We use totally natural and organic where possible. You can read about our products above.

Q. Do you offer a discount?

A. Sorry, our prices are fixed (just like our bills). You can try our custom package though. Click here for more information.

Q. Do you accept credit card?

A. Yes. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Q. Do you accept USD (US Dollar)?

A. Yes. In fact, US Dollar is the most used currency in Cambodia.

Q. Do you accept foreign currency?

A. Yes, we can accept most foreign currencies. We follow the exchange rate on XE.com and charge $3 USD extra, as the local exchange is never as good as online, and they will charge us for exchanging too. We won’t profit for exchanging foreign currency.
